2/14/07 - Okay, the main site is up but the CGI scripts aren't working. So for now, upload and search over here. Comments are not working until I decide what to do next.
2/08/07 - As you may know, our mainsite is down again, hosting issues. While these are resolved, I've unlocked Uploading and Recent Stories here, so you can do those. You just can't comment. All will be resolved soon.
11/30/06 - We have moved this mirror site to Dreamhost, with a year's worth of hosting paid for. I have checked all the links and everything appears to be working fine. If you have a problem, please email the archivist.
06/01/06 - If you are having problems using the drop-down menu-bar, check that your javascripts are turned on in your browser. Alternately, you can use the following page for your home page - http://inkstain.inkquill.com/hparchive/oldmain.htm . You will need to return to this menu option if you go to any of the page links as they will only be showing the new menu bar. We are looking into alternate ways to do the menu system as well.
4/28/06 - WE'RE BACK!!! Our main site at http://inkstain.inkquill.net is now hosted by Ipowerweb.comwhich was recommended by a number of people. They're not fan-folk, so we'll just have to see if we stay below their radar . I've purchased a six-month lease with them with 10GB of space and 250GB transfer, and if everything works out, I'll then purchase a year at a time. Thanks for those whose donations helped to get the site up quickly; if you would like to support the site's future expenses, check out the ways to contribute below. Also, I've implemented a new menu bar system, which I hope you'll find both useful and intuitive. If you can't get the drop-down items to show, check that your java applets are enabled on your web browser. If you still have problems. let me know. If there are a lot of problems, I'll go back to the old way, otherwise I'll come up with a work-around for those who can't use the drop-down bar. 4/20/06 - URGENT UPDATE!!! As you probably know, our main site on Papillonhost has disappeared, as has the provider itself. I am in the process of moving the inkquill.net domain to Ipowerweb.com, which has been recommended by a number of people. If you have any info on that provider, please email me at diana@slashcity.com . I plan to purchase a year's lease there at $96 for 10GB of space and 250GB transfer, which is about 10x what we had before for close to the same price. If you are interested in helping out with the costs, check the Amazon & Paypal links below. I expect the set-up to be completed by May 1 at the latest. Thanks for your patience and help.

FAQ Reminder!!! - We've had a few recent submissions that have skated very close to the edge on what's allowed here on the archive, and had to delete two stories that crossed that line. PLEASE - read the FAQ. This archive has very wide boundaries, but we *do* have some rules as far as character ages and het sex are concerned. If you have questions or want to discuss it further, send all Howlers to the Webadmin (address below).

JUST ADDED!!! We've just added the ability to post a link to off-site stories and artwork. So if you've always wanted people to be able to find your stories from the ISF archive but have wanted to keep your stories/artwork under your personal control, you have the option to do that. Just choose Add Link under the Upload options.

UPDATE!!! During the evaluation, many of our members commented that they were frustrated when trying to find parts of a multi-part story. In our effort to help solve that problem, we have added new fields to our Database, which you'll see when you use the Search or Upload engines.
